Why God Reveals Himself to Some and not Others
God reveals Himself to everyone in His unique way, and this happens through the intricate designs and wonders of the world around us. Romans 1:20 states, 'For his invisible qualities are clearly seen from the world’s creation onward...' This means that through the things He has created, such as the beauty of nature, the complexity of life, and the workings of the universe, His existence and attributes become evident.
Despite this, many people do not recognize these truths. This is not because God is hiding from us, but rather because of our own hearts and choices. Our willingness to embrace His truth plays a significant role in whether or not we see Him clearly.
Consider an example from a Satanic perspective. There is a founder of a Satanic church who, in a YouTube video, offers insights that resonate deeply with the core question of God’s presence. He acknowledges that God does reveal Himself to people, but He does so on terms that respect free will and individual choice. This aligns with the biblical principle that God does not force Himself upon anyone. Instead, He remains hidden from those who do not open their hearts to Him.
Personal experience often underscores this truth. Having felt the same love and intimacy with God, I am compelled to share this love of Christ with others. Every person on Earth has a unique purpose, and God has a plan for each one. However, many remain unaware or unresponsive because they are too preoccupied with their own concerns, often neglecting to seek a relationship with Him.
One of the most crucial aspects of this relationship is faith. Faith is essential because it aligns with God’s desire for a genuine relationship based on trust, not compulsion. The Hebrews 11:6 passage emphasizes that without faith, it is impossible to please Him. If God revealed Himself to everyone without requiring faith, it would override the fundamental principle of free will. Belief would then be reduced to mere sight rather than a relationship built on trust.
It is through faith that individuals can freely choose to accept God. Such faith allows Him to reveal Himself in a more profound way. It is said in John 20:29, 'Blessed is he who believes without having seen.' This verse beautifully encapsulates the essence of the relationship between faith and revelation.
Ultimately, God has promised to lift the veil from everyone's eyes during the end times, at the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. As for why He does not reveal Himself to everyone now, it is for reasons of timing and purpose. God is finding ways to draw people to Him, trusting that as they believe and trust in Him, He will ultimately reveal Himself in a more definitive way.
That is the general idea behind this complex yet profoundly personal question. While I have done my best to share my understanding based on biblical studies and personal reflections, it is always good to seek deeper insights and further reflection.
