How Was Your NABARD Grade A Exam: Insights and Tips for 2022 Aspirants

Introduction to the NABARD Grade A Exam

The NABARD Grade A Prelim Exam 2021 was held on September 18 in two shifts. After the exam, our subject experts provided a comprehensive analysis of the assessment in consultation with our students. Below are some key takeaways from this year’s exam, which can help 2022 aspirants in their preparation strategy.

The Exam Experience

The overall level of the assessment was easy-to-moderate for all subjects. Questions from sections such as Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and English were found to be easy. The questions in both shifts were also similar, with a focus on the new section of Decision-Making, which was conceptual and theoretical.

In the Agriculture and Rural Development section, a number of questions were asked from various Government schemes such as e-NAM, PMFBY, PMKSY, and PMKMDY. Similarly, for the Economic and Social Issues section, questions on schemes like e-RUPI, Stand Up India, PM Vaya Vandana Yojana, and Jan Arogya Yojana were included.

A Personal Journey

I can hardly explain how passionate I was about NABARD. Working with NABARD has been a lifelong dream for me, as my heart always lies with the farming community and those who toil in agriculture. On September 18, that dream seemed to come true. It was one of the most unforgettable moments of my life, experienced not just once, but thrice!

However, not everything in life comes easy. Despite this passion, my dreams for the NABARD Grade A exam have ultimately come to an end. My Grade A dream was a cherished one, but it remains unfulfilled. Similarly, I never attempted to appear for the Grade B exam. After appearing for the Development Assistant position twice and being shortlisted for a Junior Consultant role, I faced some unfortunate circumstances preventing me from taking the SEBI or RBI officers' preliminary exams.

The biggest blow, however, is that I am now 30 years old. I have missed the opportunity to appear in any government exams in the future. This is a setback that I deeply regret, but it is a reminder of the importance of seizing opportunities while they are available.
