Removing a Bank Account from PhonePe UPI

Before removing a bank account, make sure to check the following:

Alternative Method

If the above method does not work, you can also remove a bank account by:

Going to the 'My Money' option, which is second from the bottom right. Clicking on 'BHIM ID'. On the top right corner, you will see a symbol of a dustbin. Tap on it to remove the bank account you wish to remove.

Post-Removal Steps

After removing a bank account, you can still link it to your PhonePe UPI again in the future if needed. To do so:

Navigate back to the 'Select Bank Accounts' or 'My Money' section. Follow the steps to link the account again.

After the latest PhonePe app update, the process of removing a bank account has been simplified. Here's the updated procedure:

Go to the list of banks where you have an SB (Savings Bank) account. Click on the mark near the bank name to expand the options. Scroll down to the 'Unlink bank account' option and tap on it.
