Geography Coaching at Vajiram Ravi: An Excellence in Professionalism and Motivation
Geography has been a core component of my academic journey, particularly when pursuing the Geography optional as part of the prestigious Civil Services Examination (CSE). My experience studying Geography at Vajiram Ravi has been nothing short of transformative. The quality of coaching, the dedication of the faculty, and the overall learning environment have all contributed to a comprehensive and enriching education. This article delves into some key aspects of my experience.
Overview of Coaching
For the CSE Geography optional, I was fortunate to undertake my studies under Sir Manocha and Shabbir Sir. Each has brought their unique approach and professionalism to enrich our learning journey.
Sir Manocha has an unwavering commitment to teaching basics well, ensuring a strong foundation. His sessions are both clear and professional, making complex concepts accessible. Though I attended these classes, the positive feedback from students who have taken classes from Shabbir Sir also highlights his effectiveness and the value he brings to the Geography optional.
Shabbir Sir: The Energizing Coach
When it comes to my personal experience with Geography optional studies, my interactions with Shabbir Sir stand out in a notable way. I was enrolled in the 11 AM to 1.30 PM batch at Vajiram Ravi, and Shabbir Sir, the dynamic and energetic mentor, brought a fresh perspective to the curriculum. His approach is one of constant engagement and motivation.
Every session with Shabbir Sir starts with him sipping a cup of tea or coffee, often engaging us with random questions and short quizzes on our previous lectures. His motivational talks are a regular feature, ranging from 5 to 60 minutes, consistently providing us with the necessary push to excel. Besides his regular classes, he has initiated an innovative task-oriented approach by assigning GS questions, which helps in enhancing our analytical and answer-writing skills.
Comprehensive Learning Environment
To ensure that the learning process is both engaging and effective, Shabbir Sir takes the initiative of task allocation and constructive feedback. He assigns tasks to complete NCERTs and GC Leong books, asking students to prepare summaries and suggestions. His thorough check of these submissions along with his insightful feedback significantly improves our understanding and confidence in the subject.
What sets Shabbir Sir apart is not just his teaching but also his role as a constant guide post. Even after his classes, he remains available for mentorship and guidance through emails, ensuring that students continue to receive support and encouragement to achieve their goals.
Conclusion
My experience with Geography at Vajiram Ravi, guided by Shabbir Sir, has been an enriching and rewarding journey. Beyond his teaching prowess, Shabbir Sir's energy, motivation, and constant support have been invaluable. This positive teaching methodology ensures that students not only excel in exams but also develop a deep interest in the subject.
