Congress’s Accusations on Modi Government: Unveiling the Truth Behind India’s Corporate Influence

Why Is Congress Fooling People by Suggesting the Modi Government Is Run by Ambani and Adani?

On the evening of June 4th, 2024, we can expect an abundant amount of comments and not-so-subtle hints about why the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won. Despite being an Indian, my heart wishes that, finally, they won't say, "Janata Bik Chuki Hain Ji," which translates to "The people have finally woken up." Even if they do, it won't surprise the people of India, as this is a well-worn narrative.

The Truth Behind the Claims

According to a significant fact, FEKU (Financial Election Kosh Udyog) works exclusively for Ambani and Adani because they provide election funding and help in purchasing MLA (MUnnamed Local Assembly) support. This is a clear indication that these two businessmen wield undue influence over the political system, as they purchase support from elected representatives in nine states. This corruption is a stark reality in the Indian political landscape, and it has nothing to do with the policies and governance led by the Modi government.

Irrelevant Comparisons

Can there be any more silly similes than the idea that Adani and Ambani are the ones running the duly elected government? They are as much part of the Indian public as any other 1.3 billion people. How can two individuals, no matter how successful they are, run the government when people like the Tatas, Kirloskars, and others are also entrepreneurs and netizens? The policies of the Indian government are crafted according to their instructions, which further fuels the allegations of corporate dominance.

Anti-Entrepreneurship Stance

The Indian National Congress (INC) is frustrated that corporates are not contributing to their election expenses. The public, many of whom are unaware of the hidden agenda, tend to believe the fake news about Ambani and Adani. If the government were truly run by Adani and Ambani, India would not have seen an influx of self-made billionaires like the founders of OLA, Flipkart, Paytm, and Zerodha. However, under the Modi government, India has seen an unprecedented number of self-made millionaires and unicorns since 2014.

The Congress, known for its hostility towards the private sector and entrepreneurs, has a long history of seeing India in a state of stagnation during its 60 years of rule. JRD Tata, a prominent businessman, once said, "I am a corporate chairman with the least power, because all business decisions are made by Nehru," reflecting the lack of influence and decision-making powers in the hands of India's private sector during the congress era.

Political Motivations and Transparency

The Congress, in desperation, is resorting to such accusations to stay relevant in the media and maintain public discourse. However, the claims of corporate control are not fooling the people. For once, the people of India are seeing a clear truth.

The BJP can take the wind out of the sail of the Congress and other opposition parties by disclosing the complete details of the donations that the party receives and making it mandatory for all political parties to do so. Additionally, they can make necessary changes in the law to dismantle the Election Bonds scheme to ensure transparency in the functioning of the party and the government. Will the BJP have the courage to do this?
